A six-axis depalletizing robot uses 3D vision to locate and pick 25 kg polypropylene resin bags from stacked pallets. The system transfers each bag for opening and discharge, verifies empty bags, and collects the waste bags. It handles 2 bags per minute from stacks of up to 15 layers.

HDPE Plastic Part Removal With A 5-Axis IMM Robot

For this project in the Netherlands, RBTIC integrated a five-axis servo robot with a 130-ton Haida injection molding machine for two-cavity HDPE part removal. The system includes a custom two-part take-out gripper, conveyor, safety guarding, machine-to-robot signal integration, and on-site integration. Each cycle, the robot removes two 100 g parts in about 10 s, places them on the conveyor, exits the mold area, and sends the mold-close signal to start the next cycle.

Automated Gear Shaft Loading & Unloading For A Hobbing Machine

This project in Brazil uses a six-axis CNC robot arm to automate gear shaft loading and unloading for a hobbing machine. The robot works with a blank staging table and a finished-part table, using a custom loading/unloading gripper and an elevated robot base. Each gear shaft weighs approximately 1.98 kg. After picking a blank, the robot first removes the machined gear shaft from the hobbing machine, loads the new blank, and then places the finished part on the output table while the next machining cycle begins. Robot operation is paused while operators replenish blanks on the staging table.

This project in India uses four six-axis welding robots for multi-point MIG welding of 3 mm carbon steel sheet-metal parts. Each robot cell is equipped with a custom dual-station positioner, two custom part fixtures, a 350MR MIG welding system, an automatic torch-cleaning station, and PLC controls. Each part requires four short MIG welds. While the robot welds at one station, the operator loads and unloads parts at the opposite station. Once both operations are complete, the positioner rotates 180°, bringing the next part into the welding position while the opposite station is serviced.
